Diaper Cake #2

So, I just did my second diaper cake for my friend Victoria. She is having a boy and they're naming him Brady (so cute!). I was so happy to be able to do it for her!

Happy 2nd Anniversary!

Chris and I just celebrated our 2nd Anniversary on the 15th! For some reason it seems like longer... hmm, maybe because we have a 15 month old and one on the way! :) Crazy, Crazy, Crazy! We never have been the type to take it slow huh!? :)

Chris and I were introduced by my good friend Tara and his friend Nick. Chris and Nick went to Mesa High together and then played basketball at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Nick started dating Tara while I was away at BYU-Idaho and when I came back for a break she asked me to come hang out with her, her boyfriend and some of his friends.... dun dun dun. :)

So, I met Chris on Feb. 23, 2006 at the Apache Lanes Bowling Alley . Chris and his friend Josh walked me out to my car afterward and invited me to their game the next night. I went of course. :) Maybe a week later Chris asked me for my phone number. We had our first date on Mar. 4th. It was all over from there! We saw each other nearly every day and fell madly in love. ha ha ha (just added that for extra effect). We were engaged Apr. 13th and then married on Jul. 15th.

I got pregnant right away and was due Apr. 16th. (almost exactly 9 months later). Grant ended up being born on Apr. 14th. Ya Ya... the dates are funny. jk
It has been a wonderful 2 years! We have so much fun together and are excited for the new one to join our crazy lives. :)

Chris surprised me and took me to Outback for dinner. He planned the babysitter and everything! When we sat at our table I saw this. :) He wrote a really sweet poem for me, which almost made me cry...then I remembered that we were in a restaurant. :) We had such a great dinner together.

This was when he proposed! Dray took the pictures. :)

Walking out of the Mesa Temple on our big day!

What a stud! I love you Christopher!

Yummy Suds!

Why does Grant always feel the need to eat the bubbles? ha ha He never likes them, and yet he can't put em' down. :)

I'm gonna do it....

I'm doing it!

Ha! I did it! Ew!

Why do I do that again?

Welcome home Elder Hale!

Chris' younger brother, Michael just got home from his mission. He spent 2 great years serving in the Washington, Spokane Mission. Chris was so excited to finally see his brother after such a long time and I was excited for him to meet Grant. He left 3 days before we got married, so he obviously missed Grant's birth. :) Jackson was only a couple months old and Arwen wasn't talking nearly as much as she does now! Tiffany got married while he was gone too and what the heck... Jessica looks so old! ha ha!

We probably scared the daylights out of him when we were all screaming as soon as we saw him. :)

Hale Fam is at it again!!!!!

Yep, you guessed it-I'm pregnant! We just had our first ultrasound on Monday and it went great. The baby has a strong heartbeat and it looks like everything is going well. I'm about 11 weeks so it will still be a little while before we are able to find out if it's a boy or girl. :( I have been really blessed and haven't been sick (just some nausea here and there). It's been great so far! We are so excited to have another baby (since Grant isn't really a baby anymore)! Right now my due date is Feb. 2.

The head is right up there-curled up body-legs crunched up and little foot showing

Watching You...

If any of you haven't heard the song "Watching You" by Rodney Atkins you must do it soon! It has got to be the cutest Father-Son song ever! I first heard it when I was pregnant with Grant and of course I cried. I had Chris listen to it and... well, he was a little emotional. Shh!
We are now experiencing this song first hand. Not only does Grant play basketball like Daddy, but he also wants to do the Rubik's Cube like Daddy. He talks on Daddy's phone, wears Daddy's shoes, has Daddy put deodorant on him....and now he's wearing Daddy's socks!

Grant's first "real" haircut

I have cut Grant's hair a few times on my own, but never had very much luck getting the whole way through. Little did I know that a dum dum would do the job. :) Dray cut his hair while I held him. He did great!

Hale Reunion Park City Style!

Here are some pictures of our trip. They are really out of order, so it might be confusing. :)
