The other night we were getting ready to put Grant down to bed and while we were reading him a story he climbed on his bed to lay with Michael. He got so cuddly and sweet with him and I just had to take some pictures. He wanted Michael to lay in his arm-the way he (Grant) lays with Daddy. :)

Random Happenings
Well, since I have been a MAJOR slacker lately, there's too much to post about...so, I will just give a little update of us.
Going to McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale. (Such a cool park!)
Michael smiles like a pro!
Grant jumps in the pool like a pro! :)
We played outside and saw a great big butterfly. Grant enjoyed watching it fly around from one flower to the other.
Grant made pancakes (with Mom's help).
Michael learned to box! :) Watch out Ali!
Celebrated Kenady's 1st birthday and played on the swings.
Chris got me some flowers just for fun. Always nice!

Michael's Baby Blessing
Chris actually blessed Michael on March 1st, but I am just now getting around to posting the pictures. The blessing was so beautiful and the spirit was really strong! Chris did a great job. The grandpas, fathers, brothers, and brothers-in-law were able to stand in the circle, which made it quite large (9 people). It's a pretty neat sight! Thank you all for coming and supporting our family. We love you!

Nice to meet you! (this is a long one)
It all begin on February 23, 2006. I was out shopping and my good friend Tara called me asking me to go bowling with her and her boyfriend...and some of his guy friends. She said, "They are always telling me to bring some of my girl friends, but nobody can ever come." I was all up for it!! So, that night I went to Apache Lanes and met Nick (Tara's bf), Chris, and Josh. Josh is like twice my height, so I was more interested in Chris. I later found out that as I walked up Josh said, "She's all yours... too short for me." It was meant to be! ha ha ha
So, we played a couple games and then Josh and Chris walked me to my car. We stood out there and talked for a while about a bunch of random stuff and they invited me to their basketball game that was a few days later. So, Tara and I went to CGCC and cheered them on.
We all went to Applebees after the game. I went to a couple more games and a few more nights at Applebees before he finally asked me for my number. :) For some reason Josh wanted to go home early, so he took Chris' car (because they had drove to the game together). I offered to take Chris to Josh's after we were done eating. When we pulled up Chris said something along the lines of, "Well, thanks for coming to dinner, it was fun! Maybe I should get your number so Tara doesn't have to be the middle person." So, of course I gave it to him. Me, being the forward person that I am said, "Should I get yours too or are you going to call me?" :) He said, "Oh, I'll call. Don't worry." I drove home with a smile. ha ha
The next day (March 4th) I got a text from Tara that said, "Have a good night tonight...oh wait, I know you will!" I was in the middle of replying when I got a phone call. Who's number is this??? :) Chris asked me out for that night to play games and watch a movie at Tara's house. When he got to the house he chatted with Jerry for a while and made my family fall in love with him by playing the piano. They didn't care if I liked him or not... he was a keeper! We then went to Tara's and had a great time with her and Nick.
I then called him the next night to go to a fireside. It was pretty much history from there! We spent day after day together...and didn't get sick of each other! Shortly after, I went to Rocky Point with Tara and her family. Although it had been a such a short amount of time I missed him....and he totally missed me! Tara and I came home a day early and surprised the guys-their reactions were priceless! I believe Chris said something like, "My heart skipped a beat" when he saw me. (I don't think he intended for it to be, but it was really sweet!) That night (15th) we watched Spiderman 2 and he kissed me! I wrote in my journal that night and said, "Well, he kissed me! I don't know what to think because I am supposed to go back to school in less than a month. I really like him. We'll see what happens!"
By the end of the month we were considering marriage. We were engaged on April 13th.... and just a few short (seemed long) months later we were married!
